Vocalize

Vocalize is an a cappella vocal jazz quartet based in Johannesburg. The group was formed in 2007 with singers who have known each other for many years as members of the St George’s Parktown choir.

The Vocalize repertoire contains an wide array of contemporary popular music, arranged for voices in close harmony. Given our traditional choral background, we have been known to sing sacred music on occasion.

The group is a “not for profit” organisation founded on the basis that our love of singing can be used to assist many worthy causes in our community. We have raised considerable amounts through our concerts for various different organisations.
